Ear Lobe Piercing

Adults £30 & Chilldren £35

It wasn't until the late 1950's and early 1960's that jewellery stores and department stores began offering ear piercing services for the public. This was after people started performing them at home with 'ear piercing parties' where girls would pierce each other's ears. This is not recommended because of the hugely increased risk of damage to the ear and infection so we would always insist upon going to a reputable piercing studio for your ear lobe piercing.  The biggest selling point of ear lobe piercings is the hugely versatile range of different jewellery options available, which are detailed later in this guide.

Another reason why ear lobe piercings are highly popular, even with children, is that they are usually the least painful piercings to have. The fleshy nature of the lobe along with only a small amount of nerve endings in that part of the ear means that people tend to tolerate this piercing pain very well.

Healing: Ear lobe piercings generally heal very well, within approximately 6-8 weeks provided the correct aftercare procedure is followed. However you willneed to wait a little longer for the hole to completely heal, allowing you to remove your earrings without the holes closing over.  Jewellery: Ear lobe piercings are definitely one of the most versatile piercings, with a wealth of different jewellery style and options to choose from. Whether you want statement drop earrings that are long enough to brush your shoulders, or simple jewelled studs that you can wear everyday, there are so many earrings to choose from you'll be spoiled for choice
